Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Christies in Paris held the auction Photographies, which included the work Décolleté, Cover Study, New York, c. 1950 by Erwin Blumenfeld. The price achieved of EUR 4,788.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erwin Blumenfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Manina, Paris in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 98,937.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Photographies durch, in der auch die Arbeit Décolleté, Cover Study, New York, c. 1950 von Erwin Blumenfeld zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.788,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erwin Blumenfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Manina, Paris im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 98.937,10).
