Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Blumenfeld Color' by Erwin Blumenfeld was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,332.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erwin Blumenfeld have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Manina, Paris in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 98,937.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Blumenfeld Color' von Erwin Blumenfeld kam im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 11.332,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erwin Blumenfeld auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Manina, Paris im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 98.937,10).
