Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nocturnal Transmission by Ernesto Caivano was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in September 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,435.50). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ernesto Caivano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Birds and Waterfall (I-IV), which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 39,400.00 (€ 26,824.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nocturnal Transmission von Ernesto Caivano wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.435,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ernesto Caivano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Birds and Waterfall (I-IV) beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 39.400,00 (€ 26.824,62) versteigert wurde.
