The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,652.65), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ernest Fiene - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Day, Pittsburgh, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,118.43).
