Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Old Church; and five companion prints by Ernest Fiene was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in December 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 937.50 (€ 673.54). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Fiene achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter Day, Pittsburgh in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,118.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Old Church; and five companion prints von Ernest Fiene wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 937,50 (€ 673,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Fiene erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter Day, Pittsburgh im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.118,43).
