This artwork by Ernest Fiene achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in November 2020. In the American Art auction, the work East Coast Lighthouse sold for USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,347.67) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Fiene achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter Day, Pittsburgh in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,118.43).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernest Fiene erzielte im November 2020 bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit East Coast Lighthouse für USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.347,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Fiene erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter Day, Pittsburgh im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.118,43).
