Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Safari by Erica Hestu Wahyuni was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,628.92). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erica Hestu Wahyuni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Great Africa Safari, which sold at auction in November 2010 for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,700.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Safari von Erica Hestu Wahyuni kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.628,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Erica Hestu Wahyuni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Great Africa Safari beobachtet, die im November 2010 für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.700,83) versteigert wurde.
