Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Panen Mas I by Erica Hestu Wahyuni was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 5,665.87). Admittedly, works by Erica Hestu Wahyuni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Great Africa Safari in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,700.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Panen Mas I von Erica Hestu Wahyuni wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 5.665,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erica Hestu Wahyuni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Great Africa Safari im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.700,83).
