In September 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Stone Barn by Eric Sloane. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,160.00 (€ 17,204.30), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eric Sloane - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vermont December, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 34,799.11).

Im September 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stone Barn von Eric Sloane zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.160,00 (€ 17.204,30) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Eric Sloane mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vermont December beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 55.000,00 (€ 34.799,11) versteigert wurde.
