Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eric Detthow could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Sale auction, the work Bullfighting changed hands for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,329.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Detthow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Restaurant interior in October 2018 with an auction result of SEK 270,000.00 (€ 26,042.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eric Detthow konnte im April 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Sale wechselte die Arbeit Bullfighting für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.329,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eric Detthow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Restaurant interior im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 270.000,00 (€ 26.042,18).
