Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with apples and pears by Eric Detthow for SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,696.83). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Detthow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Restaurant interior in October 2018 with an auction result of SEK 270,000.00 (€ 26,042.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with apples and pears von Eric Detthow für SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.696,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eric Detthow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Restaurant interior im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 270.000,00 (€ 26.042,18).
