This artwork by Eric Detthow achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2018. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work The yellow parasol sold for SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,135.90) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Detthow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Restaurant interior in October 2018 with an auction result of SEK 270,000.00 (€ 26,042.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eric Detthow erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit The yellow parasol für SEK 22.000,00 (€ 2.135,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eric Detthow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Restaurant interior im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 270.000,00 (€ 26.042,18).
