Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Eclipse Iv by Enrico Donati. It changed hands for a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,702.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Donati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spaziale fiorito in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 867,000.00 (€ 768,140.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eclipse Iv von Enrico Donati zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.702,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enrico Donati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spaziale fiorito im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 867.000,00 (€ 768.140,34).
