This artwork by Endre Tót achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in November 2019. In the Herbst 2019 - Third Floor auction, the work „I am glad if I draw only in the corner“ / „I am glad I would give away the other half of this zero“. sold for EUR 2,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Endre Tót achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hungarian /Germanuntitled Diptych in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,008.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Endre Tót erzielte im November 2019 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Herbst 2019 - Third Floor wurde die Arbeit „I am glad if I draw only in the corner“ / „I am glad I would give away the other half of this zero“. für EUR 2.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Endre Tót erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hungarian /Germanuntitled Diptych im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.008,97).
