It achieved a price of HKD 77,675.00 (€ 8,089.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Admittedly, works by Emperor Jiaqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 56,659.15).

Die Arbeit Large Standard Script Calligraphy von Emperor Jiaqing kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 77.675,00 (€ 8.089,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emperor Jiaqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 56.659,15).
