Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Kaishu by Emperor Jiaqing was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,901.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emperor Jiaqing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Regular Script, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 529,200.00 (€ 56,659.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Kaishu von Emperor Jiaqing wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.901,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Emperor Jiaqing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 529.200,00 (€ 56.659,15) versteigert wurde.
