The »bidding war« ended at HKD 114,000.00 (€ 12,473.28), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Emperor Jiaqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 56,659.15).

Die Arbeit Poem In Standard Script Calligraphy von Emperor Jiaqing wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 114.000,00 (€ 12.473,28) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emperor Jiaqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 56.659,15).
