Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Wheat by Emmanuel Sougez for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,847.81). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Emmanuel Sougez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pommes De Terre, 1930 in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Wheat von Emmanuel Sougez für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.847,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emmanuel Sougez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pommes De Terre, 1930 im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
