Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction PHOTOGRAPHS, which included this untitled work by Emmanuel Sougez. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,699.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emmanuel Sougez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pommes De Terre, 1930 in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Emmanuel Sougez zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.699,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emmanuel Sougez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pommes De Terre, 1930 im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
