It achieved a price of USD 3,810.00 (€ 3,489.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emma Webster achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Glen in May this year with an auction result of USD 378,000.00 (€ 354,796.32).

Die Arbeit La Nouvelle Epoque (The New Era) von Emma Webster wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.810,00 (€ 3.489,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emma Webster erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Glen im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.000,00 (€ 354.796,32).
