Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Piccola Bagnante by Emilio Greco was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,437.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Greco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Bagnante II in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 260,500.00 (€ 205,215.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Piccola Bagnante von Emilio Greco wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.437,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Greco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Bagnante II im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 260.500,00 (€ 205.215,06).
