This work without title by Ellen Gallagher was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in January 2024. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,237.37), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ellen Gallagher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deluxe in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 760,509.70).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ellen Gallagher wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.237,37) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ellen Gallagher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deluxe im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 760.509,70).
