Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Up Dog by Elizabeth Murray was sold in the Contemporary Edition: New York: Featuring the Collection of Kenwal Steel in Support of GLAAD auction at Christies in New York in March this year. The price achieved of USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,708.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Murray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Fingers in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 437,500.00 (€ 397,041.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Up Dog von Elizabeth Murray wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Edition: New York: Featuring the Collection of Kenwal Steel in Support of GLAAD bei Christies in New York versteigert.
