However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Clifford - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Forge of Cupid, which sold at auction in July 2018 for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,038.12).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.096,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%.
