The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,127.09), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduardo MacEntyre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pintura Generativa (Desarrollo De Un Tema Circular), which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 40,199.39).

Die Arbeit Variante Ii Sobre Un Cuadro Negro von Eduardo MacEntyre kam im Mai 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.127,09) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eduardo MacEntyre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pintura Generativa (Desarrollo De Un Tema Circular) beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 40.199,39) versteigert wurde.
