In November 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Pintura Generativa, Interrupción De Una Forma Por Dos Bandas Verticales by Eduardo MacEntyre. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,374.25), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduardo MacEntyre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pintura Generativa (Desarrollo De Un Tema Circular), which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 40,199.39).

Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pintura Generativa, Interrupción De Una Forma Por Dos Bandas Verticales von Eduardo MacEntyre zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.374,25) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Eduardo MacEntyre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pintura Generativa (Desarrollo De Un Tema Circular) beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 40.199,39) versteigert wurde.
