Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Strato by Eduardo MacEntyre for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,415.94). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale Day Session at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Eduardo MacEntyre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pintura Generativa (Desarrollo De Un Tema Circular) in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 40,199.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Strato von Eduardo MacEntyre für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.415,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale Day Session bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo MacEntyre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pintura Generativa (Desarrollo De Un Tema Circular) im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 40.199,39).
