It changed hands for a price of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,684.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eddie Arning - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tricia Got Her Rose Garden, It Was the Only Thing to Do After the Mule Died, and Untitled (Crow with Yellow Background), circa 1975-1970, three drawings, which sold at auction in January 2019 for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,547.93).
