Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ed Paschke could be acquired at Christies in New York in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open | Online auction, the work No Entry changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,566.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ed Paschke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bag Boots in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 245,000.00 (€ 179,618.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ed Paschke konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open | Online wechselte die Arbeit No Entry für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.566,94) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ed Paschke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bag Boots im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 245.000,00 (€ 179.618,77).
