Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ed Baynard could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Westbourne Grove, from The London Quartet changed hands for USD 420.00 (€ 317.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ed Baynard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quarter Moon in August this year with an auction result of USD 5,760.00 (€ 5,314.14).
