Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2007 Christies in New York held the auction House Sale, which included the work My Egypt, from My Egypt by Ed Baynard. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,375.00 (€ 967.02). Admittedly, works by Ed Baynard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Quarter Moon in August this year with an auction result of USD 5,760.00 (€ 5,314.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit My Egypt, from My Egypt von Ed Baynard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.375,00 (€ 967,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ed Baynard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Quarter Moon im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 5.314,14).
