In October last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Illusion: trick", 2010. by Ebba Matz. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,745.12), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ebba Matz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Levitation", 2000 in June 2020 with an auction result of SEK 125,000.00 (€ 11,953.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Illusion: trick", 2010. von Ebba Matz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.745,12) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ebba Matz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Levitation", 2000 im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 125.000,00 (€ 11.953,52).
