Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 Christies in New York held the auction The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints, which included the work Pollinator (water lily) III by E.V. Day. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625 (€ 4,964). Other works by E.V. Day have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 8,125 (€ 7,133) in March 2016 for the work .
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pollinator (water lily) III von E.V. Day zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.625 (€ 4.964) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von E.V. Day haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125 (€ 7.133) im März 2016 für die Arbeit beobachtet.
