The work The Most Beautiful Part of a Man's Body by Duane Michals was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,160.00 (€ 20,293.94), 68% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Duane Michals; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 'Portrait Of Andy Warhol' sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,356.39).

Die Arbeit The Most Beautiful Part of a Man's Body von Duane Michals wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.160,00 (€ 20.293,94) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Duane Michals; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit 'Portrait Of Andy Warhol' im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.356,39).
