The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,525.00 (€ 8,627.72), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Duane Michals - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Portrait Of Andy Warhol', which sold at auction in April 2015 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,356.39).
