Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction PHOTOGRAPHS, which included the work Philodendron #3 by Dr. Dain L. Tasker. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,108.10). Admittedly, works by Dr. Dain L. Tasker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips; Lily; and Strelitzia (Bird of Pardise) 3 in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,473.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Philodendron #3 von Dr. Dain L. Tasker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.108,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dr. Dain L. Tasker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tulips; Lily; and Strelitzia (Bird of Pardise) 3 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.473,70).
