Sold at the lower estimate price
The work 'Roll, Jordan, Roll' by Doris Ulmann was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2015. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,584.50) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Doris Ulmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Baptism, which sold at auction in April 2017 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,714.09).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit 'Roll, Jordan, Roll' von Doris Ulmann wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.584,50) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Doris Ulmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Baptism beobachtet, die im April 2017 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.714,09) versteigert wurde.
