This work of art by Doris Ulmann could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the An American Journey: The Diann G. and Thomas A. Mann Collection of Photographic Masterworks auction, the work Sharecropper, c. 1929 changed hands for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,426.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Doris Ulmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baptism in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,714.09).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Doris Ulmann konnte im Oktober 2018 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion An American Journey: The Diann G. and Thomas A. Mann Collection of Photographic Masterworks wechselte die Arbeit Sharecropper, c. 1929 für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.426,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Doris Ulmann erzielen.
