A top price for Doris Lindo Lewis
In November 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Blue Prayer by Doris Lindo Lewis. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,284.87). With this result, Blue Prayer is even the most expensive work of art by Doris Lindo Lewis that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blue Prayer von Doris Lindo Lewis zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.284,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Blue Prayer sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Doris Lindo Lewis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
