Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers Dialogue – The Golden Lycoris Ii(Painted In 2017) by Dong Shaw-Hwei was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 212,400.00 (€ 23,916.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 140,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Shaw-Hwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers Dialogue – The Golden Lycoris Ii(Painted In 2017) von Dong Shaw-Hwei kam im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 212.400,00 (€ 23.916,55) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 140.000,00 – 220.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Shaw-Hwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
