The work Poetic Wang Wei——Colourful Camellia (Painted In 2020) by Dong Shaw-Hwei was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 212,400.00 (€ 22,740.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Shaw-Hwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Poetic Wang Wei——Colourful Camellia (Painted In 2020) von Dong Shaw-Hwei wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 212.400,00 (€ 22.740,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Shaw-Hwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
