Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work A Reunion - Chrysanthemum(Painted In 2011) by Dong Shaw-Hwei. The price achieved of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 30,474.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 190,000.00 – 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Shaw-Hwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Reunion - Chrysanthemum(Painted In 2011) von Dong Shaw-Hwei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 30.474,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 190.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Shaw-Hwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
