Auction result well in line with expectations
The work SM General Notes by Dondi was auctioned at Christies in New York in November last year. The price achieved of USD 31,500.00 (€ 30,514.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dondi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hammers in Hell in November last year with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 219,703.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit SM General Notes von Dondi kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.500,00 (€ 30.514,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dondi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hammers in Hell im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 219.703,57).
