Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 3,024.00 (€ 3,334.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. Admittedly, works by Donald Hamilton Fraser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape, Sea And Wind in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,098.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Palette von Donald Hamilton Fraser wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.024,00 (€ 3.334,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Donald Hamilton Fraser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape, Sea And Wind im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.098,78).
