Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Still Life With Flask And Flowers by Donald Hamilton Fraser. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,329.63). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donald Hamilton Fraser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, Sea And Wind, which sold at auction in November 2020 for GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,098.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Flask And Flowers von Donald Hamilton Fraser zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.329,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Donald Hamilton Fraser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape, Sea And Wind beobachtet, die im November 2020 für GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.098,78) versteigert wurde.
