Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Orange Landscape With Building On River by Donald Hamilton Fraser was sold in the Modern & Post-War British Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 3,938.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Donald Hamilton Fraser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape, Sea And Wind in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,098.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Orange Landscape With Building On River von Donald Hamilton Fraser wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 3.938,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Donald Hamilton Fraser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape, Sea And Wind im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.098,78).
