Admittedly, works by Doménikos Theotokópoulos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Dominic In Prayer in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 9,154,500.00 (€ 10,460,611.84).
