The work Tumaco by Denis Mitchell was worth GBP 15,120.00 (€ 16,672.26) to a buyer in September 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Made in Britain at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Denis Mitchell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Botallack in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 88,492.63).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Denis Mitchell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Botallack im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 88.492,63).
