In October this year Christies in New York held the auction Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale, which included the work Oracle by Denis Mitchell. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 40,320.00 (€ 46,298.56), 34% above the upper estimate. Other works by Denis Mitchell have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 88,492.63) in November 2016 for the work Botallack.

Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oracle von Denis Mitchell zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 40.320,00 (€ 46.298,56) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Denis Mitchell haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 88.492,63) im November 2016 für die Arbeit Botallack beobachtet.
