Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Large Maquette for Flying Swans by David Wynne was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,233.33), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Wynne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boy with a Dolphin in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 353,000.00 (€ 413,681.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Large Maquette for Flying Swans von David Wynne wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.012,50 (€ 8.233,33) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Wynne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boy with a Dolphin im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 353.000,00 (€ 413.681,16).
